Went to the Dr 2 weeks ago. Dr says things aren't looking good. Need to get some tests done. I asked if it could wait til after Jan 1. (These tests aren't cheap) No. You might not be alive by then. Uh ok.
Tests were done Monday and Tuesday. Techs said call Dr on Thurs for results.
Called today. Dr is 'out of the office until Dec. 11th' and we can't release the results to you until then.
Really? I hate rural healthcare.
@Itsjustme Due to the urgent nature of your condition, I wouldn't think they have grounds to withhold your test results. Would you be able to go into their office and demand a physical copy or visit another physician and sign a medical release allowing them to fax them to the new physician?

If there wasn't a ling wait to see any doctor out here that would work.
Could go to the er for..something mildly related. But that would be an expensive way to get answers lol
@Itsjustme Ok, I hate to hear this. This is probably the last thing you need. I truly feel for you. I've recently gone through a similar experience. In the end, it took me 7 weeks to get my records. I finally just arranged that they print them off and have them ready for pick up at a specific time. I walked in and despite there being a line, they recognized me and handed them to me with very little wait. I really hope this gets resolved in a timely manner for you.
