My problems with The Acolyte are many, but the good points are not. The show generally looks good, the villain, though woefully underdeveloped, is interesting, and some of the concepts surrounding the main story are intriguing. The problem is that they never bother to delve into any of it.

Why did the bad guy want an apprentice?

Don’t know!

Why did he get one and then basically throw her under the bus?

Don’t know!

Why were all the Jedi so stupid?

Don’t know!

I have watched all of the live action D+ series, and I rank this one second worst, just barely above Ahsoka. Andor was by far the best, and I consider it to be the best SW content since the OT.

@Iskios my major issue is the nonlinear storytelling, and filler content. Basically 8 hours of story that could have been a 2 hour movie. Enjoyed it, first season seems like a set up for 2 more seasons.
