Hubs & I spent a few hours today updating the Inventory List that I posted a couple days ago, so we can see what we're low on to restock.

I found myself getting more and more angry as we went through the process.

I started this inventory because of Covid back in 2020.

I'm doing it now b/c so much is going to become so outrageously expensive, we're trying to mitigate that a little bit before it happens.

I'm angry about this. Not the restock, but *WHY* we're doing it at this point. #politics

Again, I urge you to stock up on your basics.. Food: canned and dried faves, basic grains like rice and oats.. and store in airtight bins. Clothes: cut back to just essentials, to save on laundry costs.. invest in cotton hand towels, and learn to use a bidet to keep your butt clean. Basic bar soap/detergent. Splurge, if you can, on a basic battery/solar kit for power outages. We about to go third world for a while. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

We can stay connected and remain determined to protect and preserve this platform even if we have different views.

I'm not being fanciful when I refer to CoSo as a life raft--we face heavy seas as political turmoil intensifies.

THIS is one place we can feel safe from the creepy manipulations seen elsewhere 💜

It seems that everything in our world, given enough stress and spin, can be fragmented into smaller and smaller pieces.

I keep thinking about how people, and their relationships, can be similarly shaken--so much that we could conceivably be reduced down to single, isolated bubbles due to conflict over an infinite array of topics.

That's why we need to use our human capacity for connection and GUARD it during times of loss and trial.
