Many moons ago, I remember the outrage that erupted when President Clinton, in one of the final acts of his presidency, pardoned the fugitive financier Marc Rich.
The GOP ranted and raved for weeks about "abuse of pardon power".
After January 20th next year, we are going to see an orgy of pardon power that makes Clinton's pardon of Rich look like an insignificant blip.
