I've seen so many formerly avid followers of Trump obviously change their tune this election season.
So, I'm having trouble understanding how it is possible that more people voted for Trump than before.
Did they just keep their head down this time, and silently voted for him?
Or is their racism and misogyny so vital to their world view that they'd vote for the downfall of decency before voting for a woman of color?
I believe we are contending with VERY MANY cowards and lickspittles in our country, afraid to jeopardize jobs, church committees, Sunday brunch invites, etc...and who also presume that the shit wind will never blow their way...
We erred in thinking that 4 years of this dipshittery would quench their reactionary thirst for kayfabe stupidity and ignorance.

Can you even imagine what is going to happen with our efforts to avert climate change? Summers are becoming unbearable, horrible extreme weather is causing catastrophes, and he is promising full steam ahead on all the things that are causing this.
I better find that electric car I've been wanting before January. They'll probably cut back on production again.
