Well, looks like we have another cat. Artemis wandered up and settled in. I made him take her to the vet for shots, tests, and to check for a chip.
Which she had. To an adoption group. Who contacted the adopter. Who called Cosmic Jr. and gave him the name of the person she gave her to. Who said, "Oh, you can keep her."
She's just at a year old. She was adopted 100 miles away, was lost 50 miles away.
People are assholes.
