Still on the theme of "punishment at school," though.
How many of you (who feel like owning up to it, heh) were suspended while in high school? This could be "out of school" or "in-school" or both for you damn troublemakers. 🤔 😆
I'll go first.
I received 3 days of ISS (in=school suspension) for getting into a fistfight in jazz band with a good friend. He got 3, too. We kissed and made up, so don't worry. ❤️
I was a good girl.
I can't even type that without laughing. 😂
Two days out of school suspension for giving a substitute teacher the finger during class. Mr. Roaming Hands deserved a kick in the balls, but I didn't want to get that close to him.
Another time I got 5 days after school detention when I was caught sneaking out the back door to meet friends at a local park. I snuck out a lot but only got caught that one time.

"Licks" in 10th grade, ISS in 11th grade.
Other than that, was pretty good.
Thing I did not get caught for? Jumping the fence at district jazz band competition (Jan. '86, junior year), walking across the street to a bar, ordering a beer and a sub sandwich, smoking a cig, then returning to play our set. 😜

I was a pretty good kid. Stubbornly independent since I could walk, but, hey, at least my parents knew the deal early on.
