Note, when the above song was released in 1979 on a Liverpool compilation LP, it was titled "Monkies." In 1978 & 1979, the band was using "Echo," a drum machine.

Roland Corp gave Tony, Mike, Phil a 1st-gen drum machine circa ‘79 and it became almost as ubiquitous as the Padgham/Lillywhite “gated reverb.”
