I learned today that my insurance company has decided to stop covering the psych med I've been taking for the past 5 years. I have 2 tablets left. My psych NP & I have been trying to get a refill so I don't go through withdrawal.

This is medical "care" in the United States. Gotta love it.

@Impious_Jade I’m sorry you are going through that and I know how you feel. My doctor prescribed a heart medication to prevent a-fibs but it was in capsule form. The pharmacy refused to refill it because insurance didn’t cover it and it was expensive. Took a week for them to get it straightened out and to prescribe it in caplet form which was covered. Meanwhile the caplet supply I got from the ER was running down. They act like it’s NBD when people’s lives depend on the meds.
