Welp, my main account at the bird site got suspended, no reason given; & with this latest from Herr Muskrat declaring 'cis' a slur there, fuckit, I'm not going back.

In fact I hope that's why I was suspended: for using 'cis' with liberal abandon.

The place is overrun with the worst bots & bigots social media has to offer. It isn't worth it anymore.

I consider the place a living example of Karl Popper's Paradox of Tolerance in action: by tolerating the most intolerant users, the bird site is allowing them to drown out all voices but their own.
