It's been a few months. I'm in my house, um... I guess I'm doing OK?
They're starting layoffs at my employer. I feel shitty & scared about it. I tried to talk to a BFF about it & they had absolutely NO sympathy, so now I feel even worse.
I couldn't even get a full sentence out about it before they cut me off with this whole "better them [laid off] than you, you're not affected".
Right. I'm not affected by the layoffs of employees I've worked with closely for ten years. Right. Because I'm fucking heartless.
