I haven't given up on the DOJ investigation or the possibility of criminal charges on a federal level for TFG & his cohorts. I see a lot of cynicism about it, & I understand that: justice is hellaciously slow, & men in power are rarely brought to justice for their crimes.
I don't think it's time to give up yet. Garland & Smith are good people with a strong loyalty to the law. Give 'em time.
I agree. Somewhere I read that in order to avoid or reduce civil unrest, DOJ would probably act shortly before a major holiday. 🎄
@CJLavoie Huh yeah, makes sense. I wonder what they might announce or do in the days before Xmas, since I can't imagine they'd have their investigation complete yet...
