Here's the thing.

We still have systems of checks and balances. Some of those are corrupt AF, but not all of them.

Will we be OK? I don't know, but do know that being in despair is a state of not okay.

Went to Wally World, overheard older man in scooter ask an employee "where are the facemasks?" Employee didn't know, couldn't give an answer. Dug in my purse for pre-packaged Drager N95 #mask & made Hubby go talk to him. Kept browsing. Hubby came back asking for a second mask for the wife. I only had a lightly used one left in my bag. I told Hubby to ask the wife if she wants it. Hubby came back after a while, had to show them how to wear them, they thanked him profusely. /1

I was a #BoyScout.

My marksmanship badge was the first I earned after the basic series.

That doesn't account for much in the circles that matter, but I still rock it as a badge of pride.

I had my stress cry. But then I spent 15 mins on my rebounder and 3 mins on my Stealth board. I'm using my grief to increase the trajectory of my goal to reconnect with my body and unplug my brain more often. Wish me luck!
