I watched a 120 lb woman walking a 160 Rottweiler in Lowe’s today. It was mesmerizing. So much so, I followed them around the store.

She was a great pack leader. The dog walked slowly on a very short leash directly at her side. Terrified customers walked big circles around them.

I asked to approach as I wanted to tell her I appreciated how well-trained he was. She thanked me & said they had worked very hard to get there. It meant a lot to her that I saw it.

Look for the good & speak it.

When people walk away from you , let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

I eat lunch earlier than everyone else, so by the last hour of the day I'm often hungry again.

To avoid breaking my own "no food in ye library" rule, I usually take my snack and go on what I call a "pencil walk" - rescuing all the orphaned pencils from the hallway floors and giving them a new home in the library pencil cups.

I do this about once a week, and I have never purchased pencils for the library. 😆
