It's 2023 and one of the better acknowledgements of past bad behavior is from :squints: ... Paris Hilton???

Ignore the headline, because when you read what she wrote, it's less an excuse and more of a "this is what happened, this is why I was wrong, and I know it's not right."

Maybe her publicist is really good and has her saying the right things, but I have watched PTSD ruin many good folks.

@Hobyrim I saw an interview with her the other day and I felt sorry for her, which is something I never thought I'd say about Paris Hilton. Her parents had her dragged out of bed in the middle of the night and sent off to a horrible place to reform her. She had no idea why men were taking her. I can only imagine how terrifying just that part of it must have been when you think you're being kidnapped.

@awnaves exactly. Looking back there a lot of women in the 00s who got way more hate than they should have.

Not saying they were all saints and/of good people, but that maybe casual misogyny, and in some cases casual racism, set them to be hated far more than was healthy.
