I haven't gone nuts over the Foundryside trilogy in a while, but that's about to change.

I hope so badly Bennett sticks the landing to this trilogy.

The set pieces in these books are out of this world. Because the author takes the time to firmly lay the groundwork for future reveals, few twists seem contrived or hand wavy.
The first book is just a nonstop bit of, "How is he possibly going to top this when it's only chapter 7... Oh. That's how. Well this only chapter 11, how is he... Well I'll be damned."
