On Twitter, there's talk about the best female rap verse and/or best female rapper.

One name is left off the list repeatly. Mia-X.

Say what you will about the south and No Limit Records, but if you've never heard her verse on this song, it starts at 2:39ish.

Master P f. Mia-X - Bout It Bout It II - Mr Ice Cream Man (1996)

^^^ If you haven't heard ever, or if it's been a long time since you heard, the level of craftsmanship in that verse is on another level. Her lyrics are simple, but incredibly tough showing how she's not to be trifled with, but the simplicity also serves a second purpose.

The reverb of how she has a softer version of her exact same verse in the back, but 4 or so bars delayed is so incredibly clean and perfect.

I don't remember ever hearing anything else like it in the world of rap.
