I get that sometimes you want to throw a compliment to someone in a genuine way. Maybe someone is wearing a nice shirt. Maybe they look especially pretty one day and you just want to be genuine.
The ladies around you notice when you only compliment women. Or worse, only "pretty" women.
This is one big way that otherwise innocent, if not clueless, compliments come across as sinister.

This is Keanu dropping a genuine compliment while also keeping his hands to himself and also not being creepy after being told to stop.
There is 0.000% chance of being cancelled for behaviour like this when you respect people's boundaries and make the compliment about the other person instead of your own selfish needs.
