This is what InfoSec Analysts have been saying for MANY YEARS! Hell, @th3j35t3r has been working against these programs from not just Russia, but Terrorist orgs like IS, AlQaeda, etc., since at least 2009 that I know of. (Maybe more I don't.)

Sure. I know it. I saw it. RT was at ground zero for it shortly after the rise of the Tea Party and then the Occupy movement (another real and organic movement that hijacked, but I digress).
The point I’m making is that its grown incredibly sophisticated and systematized. From the GRU/ex-KGB operatives who use psy-ops and marketing techniques, to robust distribution through RT-Sputnik-Breitbart-FoxNews-Gab-GOP-WSJ.
It’s fckin POWRFUL.
