Anyone else here into and high-strangeness in general?

Made some cakes for my best-friend's birthday. I accidentally put in too much chocolate pudding mix, so they didn't shape very well, but still very tasty. Added powdered sugar on top for snow.

Florida lawmakers pass bill allowing radioactive material to be built into Florida roads

My advice, do NOT move to FL, do NOT visit or vacation in FL, do NOT drive through FL. Check out this misuse of radio active material!

"The EPA currently requires that phosphogypsum be stored in piles called โ€œgypstacksโ€ that are hundreds of acres wide and hundreds of feet tall. More than 1 billion tons of radioactive waste are already stored in 25 stacks in Florida."

I was able to get the consistency to what I wanted: in-between Devonshire cream and whipped cream. The mixture doubled in volume, filling 2.75 jars with yummy organic jasmine body butter. Yay! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐ŸŽ‰

Oops. Left in the freezer too long. Instead of softened butter, it's more like butter from the fridge. Currently letting it soften.

Method:
Melted the shea and coconut butter together in a large Pyrex measuring jug, using the microwave on 30sec bursts, sort of stirring in between.
Once completely melted, transferred the melted oils to a stainless steel mixing bowl and stirred until clear. Let cool for a few minutes.
Stirred in the jojoba oil and then the fragrance oil.
The mixture is now sitting in the freezer hardening. It'll probably take about 30min to set to the goal consistency of soft butter.

Today's experiment: making body butter ๐Ÿ™‚

1 cup raw shea butter
1/2 cup coconut butter
1/2 cup jojoba oil
1 teaspoon jasmine fragrance oil

....here's to hoping this works out.

Almost done with the wedding shawl for my niece! One row left, and then a beaded picot bind off. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
