I feel like has said much, much worse about the military over the years that we haven’t heard about.
It’s projection- he dodged the draft so he has to disparage the very thing he was too cowardly to do. Also, his comments (per Rachel Maddow) are like the comments Vietnam Vets heard when they returned from war. That is the era the coward-in-chief is stuck in.
