Baby raccoon dojo is up and running. πŸ¦πŸ’• I'm sitting here watching them tickle and flip each other.

We've now spotted 5 babies with two moms. πŸ¦πŸ’•πŸ¦πŸ’•πŸ˜

Sitting outside listening to baby raccoons nursing. They purr while doing so. 😍 Here's photos of mama and baby. So far there have been 3 babies spotted. Mama +1 and another mama +2.

My very pregnant raccoon friend is napping. 😍

Please remember that if you see a daytime raccoon they are most likely either pregnant or out looking for food and water while the babies are asleep in the den. Raccoons aren't nocturnal.

Corn is planted! 😊 Of course the squirrels watched us do it, so we deployed our anti-squirrel/bird device (aka plastic sheeting).

We're doing the Three Sisters planting method. So in appx 2 weeks we'll plant the peas around the corn, and then two weeks after that we'll plant the pumpkins. We're also going to plant the 4th Sister, Sunflower, interspersed, with lavender surrounding everything to hopefully keep the deer away from the corn.

Step 6: now that the soap has cured for 24hrs, time to remove it from the mold and cut it into bars. It'll then spend the next month curing completely.

The blue is jasmine, the tan is sandlewood.

Step 5: pour into mold. Set aside in an area with okay airflow undisturbed for 24 hours.

Step 4: mix until trace is reached, then add in sandlewood and stir.

Finally making soap. Got delayed. lol

Step 1: measure out shea butter, coconut butter, olive oil, and sandlewood.

Made some cakes for my best-friend's birthday. I accidentally put in too much chocolate pudding mix, so they didn't shape very well, but still very tasty. Added powdered sugar on top for snow.

I was able to get the consistency to what I wanted: in-between Devonshire cream and whipped cream. The mixture doubled in volume, filling 2.75 jars with yummy organic jasmine body butter. Yay! πŸ˜ƒπŸŽ‰

Method:
Melted the shea and coconut butter together in a large Pyrex measuring jug, using the microwave on 30sec bursts, sort of stirring in between.
Once completely melted, transferred the melted oils to a stainless steel mixing bowl and stirred until clear. Let cool for a few minutes.
Stirred in the jojoba oil and then the fragrance oil.
The mixture is now sitting in the freezer hardening. It'll probably take about 30min to set to the goal consistency of soft butter.

Finally finished cutting out and weeding 118 of these pretty little glass placards. The digital design is by a wonderful woman in Ukraine. 😊
