Parents play a capital role in helping define their children's identities!

It makes sense, therefore, to understand that preteens struggle to achieve a sexual identity, which means they test the waters with both sexes for a couple of years!

@Helveticus While it's true that teenagers struggle with identity issues, questioning their gender was not common in past generations. The vast majority of children know their gender identity by age 2.
