@process Sorry, I must be dumber than usual! What exactly does the King of England spend money on?Doesn't he and his family have ALL expenses paid by the State??
Mortgage? Gasoline? Food? Schools? Entertainment? New cars? Local taxes? Metro? Plane Trips?
What kind of ??<>!!&!! raise is he getting??😫

The King is in theory insanely rich, but in fact he doesn't have that much walking-around money. Most of his theoretical wealth is in land and buildings, which is controlled by a huge management corporation, misleadingly called "The Crown," which both makes and spends money. Some of this pays for itself. Other expenses are supplied by government grant. Only a bit of it is for everyday expenses, like food and clothing. Of course they do live very comfortably.
