Most folks on steroids don't get delerious, just emotional lability, like some people get from pregnancy.

But drops in oxygen are more concerning. It's high carbon dioxide, not low oxygen, that causes the sensation of shortness of breath. COVID patients don't realize how impaired they are. Pence needs to stay close to be ready to call the cabinet together to invoke the 25th amendment -- but he also shouldn't be in the same building. It's a hot mess.
