My husband's coworker's wife is a hospital nurse. She has 5 patients with full on COVID-19 symptoms, but they aren't allowed to report them as potential cases and the government is slow rolling the testing process, so they have no idea when they will get the results.

And who is not allowing them to report? The hospital administrators, or some government agency? Sorry, I am trying to understand this better!
Do you think the government is really deliberately trying to keep the numbers down? I know that's what Trump would like, but... really?

@janallmac This is via guidance from the government, but I imagine hospitals have reasons to suppress this info too.
