Thank you for your support.
I've never quite known how to respond when someone thanks me for my service. Somehow "you're welcome" doesn't really seem like the appropriate reply.
So I've settled on "thanks for your support," and I mean it sincerely. War is dumb and shouldn't be supported, but I truly appreciate the support for the individuals who find themselves fighting in them.
I don't have many photos of my time in the Air Force but here's one of the earliest ones. What a kid!
