I also have to ask, in all sincerity, why, with so much information available at our fingertips, I am one of the few “crazy half breeds” fighting the good fight? Must a person be “part” anything to speak the truth? Is it a good fight if no one learns, digests the seriousness of the matter and speaks up to change it?

These are all questions I ask myself.

Our new puppy seems to have a puff on one side of her tummy. What do you guys think, does it look like an umbilical hernia? It looked to me like she’d had a surgery for neutering, and they told me she’d had that. I thought that included the umbilical hernia surgery, but maybe not. 😕

We have an appointment at the vet tomorrow morning, but still interested in opinions from you all.

getting ready for the holidays is always such work - even without anyone here but hubby and I. I was hoping to be on the mend from my spinal surgery but the weather was boss and prevented the drive. Of course I'm still mortified I had to call in to the team and cancel my surgery the day of. "Life happens when you're busy doing other things"
