I'm so much happier when my gf is home on the weekends. Usually I have friends over once or twice a week. But since the pandemic I'm alone most of the time and I go a little bit crazy. Animal Crossing helps a lot but it's not a complete substitute for seeing an actual person in meatspace. The pets are good for cuddling and talking to but can't hold a conversation. At least the garden is started. Any distraction is welcome at this point.
