Are you curious about the culture here? Here's a primer.
1. We don't care about like or follower counts. Just be yourself.
2. We can be political, but we aren't zealots. Mutual respect reigns supreme here.
3. We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to community abuse. Trolls are dealt with immediately.
4. We do not frown upon mutes or blocks. People are like flavors. You won't like them all and they won't all like you. Use the tools. #CoSoTips
@AlbertCashiersCousin I feel the same way.
@AlbertCashiersCousin It's so much fun. /s
@Graci the South, you mean? oh gosh, I didn't have that experience in the 1970s. I moved there with my mom post desegregation to a town that was still super segregated racist and I did so with a hippy mom who was totally anti racist and naive. It was a shit show.
@Graci KKK ended up in my yard poining a gun at me in full hooded regalia because I had a habit of flirting with black people at school.
@Graci I didn't find that to be a whole lot of fun.
@AlbertCashiersCousin I can't imagine that. No KKK showing their face here but more rebel flags than I care to see
@Graci rebel flag is the flag of the confederacy.
@AlbertCashiersCousin Heck, we still have US1 called the Jefferson Davis Highway. Instils such confidence.
@Graci the old South is still all there to see if you look close enough, even though it should have passed away more than 150 years ago at the very least.
@Graci NC, eh? I have a cousin in Ashville, but not sure I could hack it being in the South.
