Are you curious about the culture here? Here's a primer.

1. We don't care about like or follower counts. Just be yourself.
2. We can be political, but we aren't zealots. Mutual respect reigns supreme here.
3. We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to community abuse. Trolls are dealt with immediately. :trollsplat:
4. We do not frown upon mutes or blocks. People are like flavors. You won't like them all and they won't all like you. Use the tools.

@CoSoTips I certainly hope that people who don't like politics mute or block me, because being , I'm having a bit of anxiety regarding being targeted. I'm not a zealot re: religion. But I can be intense regarding trying to help the candidates. That's my personality and that's my angst right now. I fear being targeted or killed for who I am considering the rise of fascist behavior. And I don't think it is unreasonable, considering various minorities may feel more targeted than others

@Graci NC, eh? I have a cousin in Ashville, but not sure I could hack it being in the South.

@Graci the South, you mean? oh gosh, I didn't have that experience in the 1970s. I moved there with my mom post desegregation to a town that was still super segregated racist and I did so with a hippy mom who was totally anti racist and naive. It was a shit show.

@Graci KKK ended up in my yard poining a gun at me in full hooded regalia because I had a habit of flirting with black people at school.

@AlbertCashiersCousin I can't imagine that. No KKK showing their face here but more rebel flags than I care to see

@AlbertCashiersCousin Heck, we still have US1 called the Jefferson Davis Highway. Instils such confidence.

@Graci the old South is still all there to see if you look close enough, even though it should have passed away more than 150 years ago at the very least.

@AlbertCashiersCousin If you are concerned, and you want to give folks a heads-up, just add the hashtag Politics to your post. The folks that are the most bothered by it have it blocked and will appreciate your effort.

Also, intense, in and of itself, isn't a bad thing.

Thanks for considering, and more importantly, Welcome.

@CoSoTips

@Toni_Walker @CoSoTips thank you for the welcome. I think my intensity comes from a different kind of neuro diverse sort of brain. I don't know how to describe myself other than I am micro analyical. Never been diagnosed as autism spectrum. linguistically gifted as well as aging so I forget alot as well as figure out ways around the forgetting because I'm smart in a different kind of way. at any rate, I have a particular way of knowing that works for me.

@AlbertCashiersCousin

Out of curiosity about who Albert Cashier was, I went on a little Wiki-walk. So thank you for the education. That was interesting.

And the way you have described yourself above is perfectly in keeping with how a cousin (biological or otherwise) of Albert DJ Cashier might present. You do your cousin proud.

Glad to have you here at CoSo.

@Toni_Walker Thank you, Toni. I was hoping that my name would inspire the curious. So I'm glad you enjoyed your exploration.
