Yes, the apps don't support the unique and excellent non-mastodon features that J builds and incorporates here.
The apps are very much utilitarian...I just use them to read stuff and comment and wait until I'm at my laptop with my browser to access any of the advance features.

you'll only see the pro banner in web, not mobile...the mobile apps do not understand all the J goodies in CoSo
