I often point people to this resource, one because it is a huge and varied group of teachers. Two because, almost every "type" of Buddhist is represented.

To use: Just pick a random teacher, listen to a few "dharma talks", stop if it does not grab you. Go on the another teacher. Sooner than latter, some voice is going to break through, strip a bit of your amour off, and then.... you have a "Path".

I'm retired and on a fixed income, which is not much since I worked at minimum wage most of my life. I had a lot of home repairs in the past year, very pricey ones. I had to stop my Pro subscription while I figured out what my in/out was going to look like.

I started the Pro again last month because $5 a month is VERY REASONABLE for what we get here. And that amount isn't going to make a difference to me whether I eat or not. If this is true for you, think about your choices.
