@PurpleDragon
So a little bit ago our surveyor marked a property line and the angry neighbor pulled the stakes out. Well, she got charged with criminal mischief, and our surveyor got a notice to appear in court regarding the incident as a witness. How happy are you to be retired from this BS. 😂
The angry neighbor has 4 charges total regarding other incidents too, assault, harassment, and something else I can't remember.

@Kurtroedeger @PurpleDragon

Calling in a surveyor is damn near guaranteed to piss off the neighbors.

I will credit Neighbor R for not getting his nose out of joint when Neighbor D had a survey done in order to put up a fence. Neighbor R even lost about 10 foot of yard and had to take down this aluminum carport thing because it was over the line. 😬

That could have turned out so bad, but it worked out well.

@GeezerWench @Kurtroedeger @PurpleDragon when you purchase property, you should have it surveyed. you should know what you are paying for (or not)
i need to get my back resurveyed because i'm pretty sure the swamp house guy has moved the markers... plus a surveyer can confirm that he's adding fill to the wetlands (which is pretty illegal, but he wants a bigger back yard)

@redenigma He'll want a bigger backyard until he's old! 😄

I do believe it's illegal to move survey markers. 'Course that might depend on which state you're in.

I hope he's using dirt, at least, in the swamp.
