The #HuzBob has been wanting a new #refrigerator for years. Neither one of us ever really liked the side-by-side that we bought in 2013, even though it worked pretty well, and the ice maker never broke! It was a Whirlpool. HuzBob accused the fridge of hiding stuff from him and took it personally.
The new one is a #Frigidaire #Frenchdoor, freezer on the bottom. That middle drawer can be fridge or freezer.
We shall see.

We bought this house in 2013 and it came with a side-by-side, the first one I ever had. It took me less than a week to learn to hate it.
I couldn't bring myself to buy a new fridge while the old one still worked, but when it died two years ago, I was the happiest woman in town. Bought one with French doors and a couple of freezer drawers and two years later, I'm still very happy with it
@BrazenlyLiberal That's good to hear, because I'm wondering about this French door. All the stuff I had in the side by side may not fit in the French door.
We have a second fridge out in the garage.
I hope this will keep the HuzBob from buying seconds of things because he's too damn lazy (or male) to move things and read labels to find stuff. I recently found TWO jars of grape jelly, and TWO squeezy bottles of Miracle Whip.

The side by side looks like it holds more than it does because a lot of the space is vertical. It's like playing grocery jenga in there.
The French door model has, in the end, more usable shelf space, ime.
I hope you're happy with it - looks like a nice fridge! I love the flex drawer - wish I had one.
