I believe there's someone whose whole job is to find new places to hide the “close this ad” button. And I want to smack that someone over the head with my keyboard. Repeatedly.

Even worse, I was in the middle of an article and a “answer the question below to continue” thing popped up right in the middle of screen that scrolled with you, and everything after it was blurred out. There was no way to shut it or move past it. I wonder what the rest of the article said. No way was I doing that.

Or they remove a few more pixels around the close X resulting in still clicking the ad instead of closing. 🤬
