IT Support: "We never enabled FTP access on that server."

Me: "I've been using FTP to update that site for the past five years."

IT Support: "We never enabled FTP access on that server."

Me: "Here's a screencap of my FTP settings and log of past usage."

IT Support: (long pause) "Oh, *that* server."

Note to all IT people: not everyone you deal with is clueless. Some of us, in fact, know as much (if not more) about IT than you do.
