@MidnightRider Who waxes cars these days? π
@MidnightRider God no. I have a car that was made in the last year that has modern paint coating and doesn't need hand waxing. I'm not driving an '88 Oldsmobile Regency anymore. π
@GaryPoole You want them to wash nice and stay pristine, you wax them. To each their own, look around Chattanooga, you'll see plenty of cars the sun stripped the paint off of.
@MidnightRider I didn't say my car didn't get waxed. I just said that *I* do not do it. That's what car washes are for. π
@MidnightRider (that is not my car, by the way) π
@GaryPoole My truck? A few times, the car? No way it's ever going through the "scratch a lator" while I own it.
@MidnightRider I use an old school hand wash place.
@GaryPoole Thats a much better choice. However, as a new car prep man @ 16? I change wash mitts annually; you use the older mitt on wheels and rocker panels and the pristine units up top. A hand wash place is only as good as the implements. But hey, I'm Mr. Monk about cars, just like my dad was. It's not for everyone, just kooks and hobbyists. But the local museum wants me to bring her to a car show this spring and I'm all about that.
@GaryPoole you don't have one of these? Shame on you Gary.
