The total confusion exhibited at four-way stops makes me wonder how much longer humans will be at the top of the food chain. And let’s not even mention traffic circles. 🤨
@GaryPoole The city put a couple of circles nearby and drivers think it's the end of the world! They are totally unable to follow the flow.

I grew up with those rotaries in New England.
I think they work by centrifugal force.
@grayman @GaryPoole Floridians are horrible drivers, so it's not a surprise they don't get it. These are the same folk who speed up when it starts raining. 🤷🏽♂️
Yes, takes a bit of time for residents to learn to use traffic circles, but they can be a great solution in the right setting.
Used to take me two or three cycles to get through a 5-way stop on a busy intersection near the house, but now traffic flows smoothly.

It started going downhill when we stopped teaching driver's education and home economics. Basic things to function in this world, and no one to make sure people learn.
