That depends entirely on what's between the slices of bread.
Potato bread, in all it's varieties.
Depends on the sandwich.
Pastrami on white bread is odd.
Peanut butter and jelly on pumpernickel works only when you are stoned.
@grayman PB&J on pumpernickel sounds... intriguing. 😜
Oats and wheat breads are my choice for basic, all-purpose use for sandwiches.
I like rye toast though for breakfast.
Only bread I never seem to have enough of is the kind in my wallet.
@GaryPoole @Cringeloop 😋 I LOVE Rye bread. Sadly, ALL bread doesn't love me. I've been testing different non-wheat flours but I haven't found a recipe to replicate Rye🙁

Mini Bread Maker - I love this recipe. (swapped 1 1/2 Tbsp Sugar w/Honey)
3/4 Cup - Water - room temp
1-1/2 Cup - Bread Flour - sifted
2/3 Cup - Rye Flour - sifted
2 Tbsp - Honey
1-1/2 Tbsp - Dry Milk
1/2 tsp - Salt
1Tbsp - Butter
1 tsp - Active Dry Yeast
