@GaryPoole determining what set off the feeling and then talking through the issue with whomever was involved with it. If it is an outside cause, talking to someone I trust about why the issue is troubling to me. Either case, then followed by physical movement, like a run or hike or active outside chores. Sometimes the run or hike comes first to help me calm down and think through what the real problem is. ❤️
Depending on what caused it & where I'm at physically... my cat, box breathing, music, watching comedic show/movie, watching 1st person nature hikes or nature drone footage on Youtube, watching bird feeder feeds on Youtube, being out in nature, doing something creative, playing a game, gardening, chatting/being silly with friends.
Playing with kittens or puppies. Works every time.
