Echoing what a lot of other people have already said, this is a really hard question to answer since there are SO many good albums to choose from.

That said, my go-to album when I'm just in the mood to chill out and listen to great music: Pink Floyd's "Animals". Pure rock perfection.

@GaryPoole Tracy Chapman, first album. (Second Weezer, first album; Third, Depeche Mode, Music for the Masses).

@WellWellWell3 oh, yes, depeche mode. honestly, there's so many. i'm really digging michael kiwanuka these days, too.

@GaryPoole

@GaryPoole i can't pick just one. there's too many.

what comes to mind, as an entire album that i've appreciated?

sarah maclachlan - fumbling towards ectasy

u2 - joshua tree

george michael - listen w/o prejudice vol 1

memoirs of a geisha soundtrack

but honestly, i'm thinking so much more in my head already.

@GaryPoole I suppose that’s one that I’ll still listen to after burnout. 🤔

It’s hard to pick one.

Deep Purple: Perfect Strangers
Moody Blues: Days of Future Passed
Accept: Balls to the Wall

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN @GaryPoole I think the Wall needs a nod, I have the multi artist version two disc set, it never gets old.

@MidnightRider @GaryPoole I was thinking this very same thing in the shower.

But I’d skip Brick in the Wall.

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN @MidnightRider Pink Floyd had a spectacular run with "Dark Side Of The Moon", "Animals" and "Wish You Were Here". All fantastic albums.

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN @GaryPoole Agent, on my disc Cyndi Lauper sings another brick in the wall, it's awesome.

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN @GaryPoole I saw Accept open for Ozzy on the Bark At The Moon tour. The guy beside me told me before the show that he was only there to hear Balls To The Wall. And sure enough, as soon as they played that song he was out the door. Ozzy and Jake killed it that night.

@GaryPoole

I don't think I have a favorite album. I'm more of a singles person. I have such an eclectic range of music I listen to. It also depends on my mood. I also go thru cycles with music. Spanning from music my parents listened to, to more present day stuff. The last vinyl album was in the 80's "Anything Goes" Gary Morris. I bought a couple of CD's around 2000. I may even have them somewhere. I'll listen to Gordon Lightfoot, ABBA, Adele, Lindsey Stirling, Kris Kristofferson, & more.
