@pendrag Ever tried apple butter on raisin toast? It's heavenly.

@GaryPoole
And on Waffles, Pancakes, and most any warm bread products I have tried.

@MrsDanaD @GaryPoole
My grandmother always made it; and I got her recipes after she passed.
The Apple Butter is always fresh in my house; and the neighbors continually receive small jars from me.

@pendrag @GaryPoole

I make my own as well!
These were a gift from a neighbor and I didn’t have the heart to tell her I had a crockpot full!

@pendrag @MrsDanaD (makes note to be nice to Pendrag in hopes of getting on their holiday gift list) 😎

@GaryPoole I like my toast very dark, almost burnt, and then I smash a bunch of butter onto one side and drizzle that with some raw unfiltered honey, trying to avoid the random holes in the slice that let the honey leak through. 🍞 🍯

@Amyfb So basically you like buttered charcoal? 😂

@GaryPoole hahaha, ALMOST is the operative word. But, I can scrape off the burnt if needed and what's underneath is perfectly good!

@GaryPoole
Butter, and lots of it.
Occasionally some peanut butter.

Unless I'm making garlic bread, which is the most supreme evolution of toast.

@GaryPoole either butter or crunchy peanut butter. Depends on my mood…

@GaryPoole Lots of grass fed butter. And it should be real old recipe sour dough. Sometimes honey and cinnamon.
