Spent a few days on Spoutible. It requires a lot more information than I was comfortable providing. The terms of service are also a little alarming. I guess it might have potential but it seems aimed at being Twitter.

So the jobs makes it look like a recession is unlikely. Makes me wonder if this wasn't all about trying to convince the labor market that they didn't "really" have all that bargaining power.

Fellow Kiwis, especially Aucklanders.. If you have an EV or Hybrid vehicle, and you have driven through floodwaters higher than your door-sill, or your vehicle was exposed to water at this level, do NOT park it inside your garage until it has been thoroughly checked over by a qualified tech. Lithium does not play well with water, it burns hot and fast and your vehicle, E-bike/ scooter is now a ticking time bomb.
