@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine I know how you feel. I very nearly sent the form to the CA DMV but my mom intervened first to put a stop to his driving. He laughed at my overreaction to his bad driving. Fate however was to intervene after this, as he fell and fractured his spine so driving was permanently over.

Ultimately it’s the decision of the DMV.

My mom had to yell, scream and put her foot down to get the keys away from my step father when the alzheimer's took hold. I actually had to hide both sets of keys from him after he insisted on getting in his car and going to see her when she was at the hospital for a few days (someone drove him). I was like fully prepared to flatten his tires or get the neighbor to disconnect the battery. Anything to keep him off the road.

That's nice he was able to save the deer. But just in case anyone faces that situation, do not attempt to remove an arrow or other penetrating object in the field. Leave it in, or cut off the protruding part, but let the vet (or ER doctor if it's a human) remove it in a place where the bleeding can be controlled.
