I’m currently a long-term substitute teacher for Grade 6 Science. Today in class, we watched a video about how yogurt is made. The video has some cues that strongly suggest it was made/filmed in Canada, so I thought I’d see if the students were paying any attention to that.

There were a few good guesses… UK, France, Italy. Then one student raised his hand. He knew he had the correct answer. I called on him.

Confidently, he said…

“Florida.”

And that was the kind of day *I* had.
