She helped me get my boarding pass, made sure I recited where to go, and went home to take a nap. She was asleep so didn't hear the phone when they said the plane was delayed 4 hours. I hung out in the pilot's office with everyone giving me little wings and crayons and soda untli my flight came, it was awesome. They gave me a clickly 10 color crayon that was beloved for many years.

@tippitiwichet We are a tough as nails generation. I never sat on my "funny" great Uncles lap. I too figured out what to do and more importantly not do, and survived the 70s/80s mentality and physically healthy because of this.
