How time flies! 18 years ago today, we adopted handsome, sweet, snuggly Bryan from Open Door Animal Sanctuary. He was just 7.5 months old at the time and so adorable! Our “Bry-Guy” is such a great cat and we’re so happy we’ve gotten so many years with him so far (he’s been here longer than any cat we’ve had besides our dearly departed Leila). @TrueBloodNet It was no problem! We love cats & have been cat parents for 22 years now. When we adopted those 3, we’d lost 3 of our seniors due to various illnesses over a 16-month time period, so even though we had 4 seniors remaining, we had room in our home & hearts for more.😻 We’ve since lost 3 of those 4 seniors due to their illnesses (2 in ‘22 & 1 in Feb.). Only our sweet Bryan is still with us. We adopted 3 other youngsters in Aug. ‘21 & June ‘22 to arrive at our current “Magnificent 7”.

@TrueBloodNet Thanks! 😺 Theo & Roscoe are littermates. They had 2 sisters, but they’d been adopted already when we met them. We didn’t want to break them up, so we adopted them along with their slightly younger foster sister Fiona (our tortie-point ragdoll mix, pictured snoozing with Theo in one of these pics) back in Dec. 2019. I don’t know what their dad looked like, but their mom was all black like Roscoe & their sisters were a short-haired black & white & a long-haired tabby, IIRC.

@cassandra17lina I never pick up my phone for calls from unrecognized or potential spam callers, but I have replied to a couple survey invitations via text message that were legit. I don’t know why more of them don’t send invitations via text or email. It seems like they’d possibly get responses from a larger segment of the population that way.

Wow - we’re going to be tired for this work week! We normally don’t wear ourselves out on the weekends with multiple big events, but we made an exception this time, thinking it’d be a Fri-Sat thing and we’d have Sunday to recover. Mother Nature said, “Nope!” - our Friday night concert was rained out and rescheduled for tonight. Billy Joel and Sting at Busch Stadium - what a fantastic show!! 🎼🎵 #BillyJoel #Sting #STL
