@Helical_Code It makes sense that spinning would be one of the oldeat crafts. Spinning, weaving, cloth, tapestry... I'm really enjoying the process although I'll warn you now before I share more pictures that I'm slightly color blind so I tend to combine very garish colors together in terrible ways. I'm sure this is going to get interesting. How long did it take you to learn to draft a consistent thread thickness?

@Helical_Code Are you bored with it or is the challenge now finding great color combinations and textures? If I can ever get competent at spinning, I think I would enjoy dying my own wool.

@GrandmaJ I should have napped more over the weekend. I'm not sure where my weekend disappeared to. Thankfully, this coming weekend is fourth of July so I get three days to make up for missing nap time.

@yogapaddlerun Coffee delivery arrived yesterday. Cut it close as I was down to my last cup, but this morning's round is on me. ☕

@Helical_Code LOL EXACTLY! Last night I switched my left hand and right hand duties and had a much more successful spinning session. Now I need to focus on drafting a more consistent amount of material. Last night was much better but I still had a few thin spots.

@nuintari @GrandmaJ Yikes...I don't think I'd deal with that very well. Alternatively, I'd charge all my time to administrative meeting, note the meeting organizer in the timesheet, and take the afternoon off.

@GrandmaJ LOL Upper management does. I'm convinced they have nothing else to do but have meetings all day every day. It was supposed to be in person but travel to Florida was cancelled due to covid so now it's virtual. It's a partial win. Still have a 4 hour meeting. Don't have to put on pants. Saving my last cup of coffee for after lunch. #NoPantsMonday

@Helical_Code I keep telling myself...as soon as I finish X, I'm taking a week off. Unfortunately, Y comes along before I finish X and the goal posts move and the week off gets delayed.
