I'm not sure where the weekend went, but I'd like to request a do-over. I'm not ready for a Monday, especially not a Monday with a four hour meeting. Also, I am drinking my second to last cup of coffee before I run out. Thankfully more is on the way, but I'm a bit of a mess this morning #morecoffee

With you, sister. I need a week-long weekend for puttering and relaxing. I have something I really need to drag across the finish line before I consider it.
@Helical_Code I keep telling myself...as soon as I finish X, I'm taking a week off. Unfortunately, Y comes along before I finish X and the goal posts move and the week off gets delayed.

I hear that. At the same time, I've got one really big X and the Ys are on a longer time table. Also, there are some projects at home that require attention in the near term.
Being an academic, I have some flexibility (and flexibility is one of the main reasons I don't go to industry and make twice as much green).
@Helical_Code I swear I always thought I'd go into academia. I thought this trip into consulting land would be temporary but temporary has lasted 9 years so far.
